The Perfect Pink Lip

I used to roll my eyes every time someone mentioned lipstick. For such a long time, lipstick was passe. I always associated it with the 90s, but now I have to say that lipstick is back in a big way. There's nothing better than a fabulous exfoliator. I love the feeling of a freshly scrubbed face. It really makes me feel like I've accomplished something with my beauty regimen.

Little did I know that exfoliation was so popular. Or at least that's the conclusion that I've drawn since MAC's latest must have Volcanic Ash Exfoliator sold out online the day that it was released. I've have infamously oily skin. Since I was in elementary school, I've noticed that by mid-afternoon, my face would feel like an oil slick. So, I'm continually on the prowl for great products that will help curb oil production or mattify my face.

Organic Beauty: Honey Cleansing Scrub

We all want healthy glowing skin, but sometimes we just don't have the means to go out and buy products or head to the salon. Thankfully, it's been proven that some of the best skin remedies can be made right in your very own kitchen.

Here's great recipe for a quicky and simple exfoliant.

1 Tablespoon honey
2 Tablespoon finely ground almonds
½ teaspoon lemon juice

Once you mix all the above ingredients together, gently rub it onto your face. Not only will the honey quench your skin, but the almonds will slough off dead skin cells and the lemon juice will help red skin blotches go buh-bye
